When buyers want to purchase at an auction, they have the option to travel to the auction site to inspect the equipment themselves, engage an auction inspection service, or buy the equipment sight unseen. Our inspectors travel to the sale site and apply their expertise in inspecting the equipment, reviewing on-site owner service records, photographing as requested and producing a written report that can be transferred to the potential buyer, online for review before bidding.
Our inspectors have an average of 25 years experience with trucks and all types of mobile, portable and stationary equipment. They know where to look for the problems and how these problems affect the value of the equipment. They use their years of experience to accurately report the true condition of the equipment to our client.
Yes, you get a detailed inspection report showing the current condition of the unit. You may also request an appraisal on the unit, in which case you would receive a formal valuation on the unit to assist you in establishing your offer or bid price.
Costs will vary based on the equipment, the location, and the accessability. Keep in mind that unlike a seller provided condition report, our company presents you with an unbiased written equipment inspection report to assist in your buying decisions.
No, lending decisions are, of course, made by the lending institutions, but our Certified Senior Appraiser has decades of experience valuing trucks and equipment for banks and lending institutions. We are familiar with lender requirements and can provide information as requested by the lender.
Appraising equipment for refinance is a mainstay of our services. Clients often need to update fleet values to obtain additional credit or bonding. We are very experienced at providing lenders with the information they need for refinance.
In most cases, the inspection can be scheduled within a few days. If travel is required, it takes a bit longer to arrange, but we realize that the timing may be critical. We strive to complete the inspection and deliver the report to you with time enough to read, understand, and act upon the report.
Each inspection report can include a comprehensive array of photographs of the subject truck or equipment. Photos will depict four or more profile views of the subject and critical aspects including data plates, engines, tires, undercarriage, glass, repairs, damage, paint, ground engaging tools, hydraulic hoses, interiors, etc. Digital photos are inexpensive and tell a great deal, so instead of printing pages we send then via email or include them with the report binder on a USB flash drive storage device or CD. In this case we feel photos are knowledge, the more the better.
